Restoration
Restoration work is all about make a building structurally safe, using the same style and methods, so that the restoration blends with the original building work.
Our research into the history of the building allows us to understand how it was built. The actual work of reconstruction and restoration is always done sympathetically with the ‘in situ’ environment.
To achieve his depth of creative understanding, Alex Beer completed a two year apprenticeship on restoration work carried out at the Edwardian buildings of Graylingwell Hospital. He has also completed a CSCS-registered course with Georgian Brickwork
